Scratch-Off inks are most suitable for lottery tickets, hidden codes or messages, and game tickets.  Silver, Gold, Black. and metallic shade top coats over our release coat offer resistant, scratchable inks with little "flaking" of the scratch-off layer.  Our innovative water-based top coats and UV release coat offer excellent performance.  With coarse line, deep cell anilox, you may be able to achieve the desired opacity in one pass (two maximum).

We are also in the initial stages of presenting a unique two-pass scratch system which does not require the use of metallic top coats, or release coats.  An innovation of API, we believe an alternative to scratch-off systems is near.
